The Solid Rock Restaurant is located in a traditional Nepali farmhouse facing south and looking down into the sun-filled valley above Dollu. You may choose to sit on a chair at one of the tables on the pleasant ground floor veranda or in the rustic indoor restaurant on second floor. Or you can enjoy your meal at the more traditional low table seating on the spacious top veranda. The menu varies to suit the season with ingredients sourced locally. Some are even from our own garden!
Both Nepali and Western items are included in the vegetarian menu. We are able to cater for groups of up to 30.
A set breakfast of eggs, toast, butter and jam, hash-brown potatoes gets the day off to a good start.
Lunch and dinner are à la carte. From starters, including favorites like momo, pakoda and sadheko to soups and salads, your meal can be selected to meet your taste. Our curries are made from freshly ground spices and may be enjoyed with rice or roti (bread) or you may prefer pasta,
Tea, coffee, soft drinks and beers are served. Some local and imported wines and spirits may be available should you choose.
For those who wish to hike, a packed lunch can be provided.
